You bring the people. We'll bring everything else.
A birthday shouldn't mean splitting across four tables, shouting over strangers and chasing a bar tab at midnight. Book an area of the bar for up to 20 of your people and we'll take it from there: the table, the drinks, the food, the music, and a little something for the birthday one.
It's the same bar we open every night. Golden-hour lighting. Lush foliage. A sound system built for listening, not background. The only difference is that tonight, everyone knows whose night it is.

Our doorman keeps a list. You're on it. He'll know your name before you reach the bottom of the stairs.
Your area, ready
Reserved, lamps on and set before your first guest arrives. No hovering. No dragging chairs across the room.
One host, all night
One of the team looks after your group from start to finish, so nobody spends the night queuing at the bar.
Drinks on arrival
We can pre-book your favourite cocktail or a glass of fizz, ready and waiting when you arrive. Alcohol-free if you'd rather.
The right soundtrack
At the weekend the decks are in good hands. We'll have the right music on all night, and dancing is encouraged.
A birthday surprise
For the birthday one, a little something from us on the night.

We'll keep it cool, plate it up and bring it out at the right moment.

Every house cocktail comes alcohol-free, and the kitchen can look after dietary needs if you tell us when you book.

Late at the weekend, everyone leaves with a bottle of water and an electrolyte tablet. Tomorrow-you says thanks.

Every seat is designed to feel like the best in the house. Yours just happens to be reserved.
Tell us your numbers when you book and we'll put you in the right part of the room. Leather banquette booths under brass lamps for smaller crews. The big booth by the entrance for a proper long table. A stretch of the room near the decks if the plan is to dance.
Groups of 13 to 20 keep their area for up to three hours, and groups of 5 to 12 for two. Bringing 15 or more? Send us an enquiry rather than booking online and we'll organise it with you.

We put together special drinks and food packages for birthdays and group bookings.
Think a glass of fizz as everyone arrives, rounds of house cocktails, and El Tigre's tacos and botanas landing on the table for everyone to share.
Packages are put together around your night, so we don't list them here. Tell us your date, your numbers and what you have in mind, and we'll send over the details. For more details, please send us an enquiry.
You don't need a package. Plenty of groups just book and order as they go.

How many people can we bring?
Up to 20 as standard. Groups of up to 14 can book online. For 15 or more, send us an enquiry and we'll confirm and organise it with you. Bigger groups are possible with a bit of notice.
How long do we get our area?
Groups of 13 to 20 keep their area for up to three hours. Groups of 5 to 12 get two hours.
What's in the packages?
We have special drinks and food packages for birthdays and groups. Get in touch with your date and numbers and we'll send you the details.
Do we have to have a package?
No. Packages just mean nobody has to think about it on the night. You're always welcome to order as you go.
Is there a deposit?
Groups of 13 or more pay a deposit to secure their area. We'll share the details when you book.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Of course. Let us know when you book and we'll keep it cool, plate it up and bring it out when you're ready.
Can we decorate our area?
Ask us when you book. We're usually happy to help, but we'll steer you away from confetti.
Do you do alcohol-free drinks?
Yes. Every house cocktail is available alcohol-free, and our Bolle alcohol-free sparkling wine is there for the toast.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Tell us about any dietary needs or allergies when you book and the kitchen will look after you. Full allergen information is on our menu.
Is there an age limit?
Nine Lives is strictly 18 and over, and anyone may be asked for photo ID.
Which night is best?
Weekends bring the DJs and a bit more noise. Tuesday to Thursday is more laid back: better for long chats and longer tables.
It's not a birthday. Can we still book?
Leaving drinks, engagements, promotions, reunions, "it's Thursday". Same deal, same packages.
Do you do private hire?
Yes, Nine Lives is available for private hire. Email us at info@ninelivesbar.com with your date and numbers and we'll send over the details.
